I was looking to get darker shade tint for my current car, the summer sun has been brutal on the kids and myself. So I decided to stop by the shop and was greeted by Pete who was very friendly and knowledgeable. He did inform me that it will take tim...
I’m not going to pay for a tint job that’s clearly not done right. The cuts were done unprofessionally, there are bubbles, and a lot of microfiber debris is stuck between the glass and the tint. On the pictures I will upload you will be able to see the cuts and imperfections. It is much more visible in person. I also uploaded pictures from before I dropped off my car, where you can clearly zoom in and see there’s no scratch, along with the after pictures showing the damage. On top of that, when I dropped off my car, it came back with a scratch on the front right lip. I recorded my car before dropping it off. They said it would take three hours — I dropped it off around 12 or 1 PM and didn’t get it back until 6 PM. By the time I picked it up, it was already late at night. It was too dark to properly inspect the car, and they were closing up, so I went straight home. The next day, after returning from a doctor’s appointment down the hill, I drove my EV and left my Mustang at home. When I arrived, I wanted to take a picture of my son next to my car because I admire it, and so does my son. That’s when I noticed the scratch. We’ve been reaching out to the owner through their Instagram page, but so far there’s been no helpful response, even though I’ve provided more than enough proof. Still waiting for their “surveillance” check. So for that they get 0. The photos are up you let me know if you’d pay for this job! Plus a scratch to your new car. 👎 01/8 Reply to their poorly respond- Please provide the surveillance footage and send it to my email. You’re the only ones who can review what happened. If your surveillance shows nothing happened to my car why not show me? I wasn’t planning to complain about the poor tint job, but I realize I shouldn’t settle for less. It’s clear that you had an inexperienced worker handle the job, and it shows. I’ve had my cars tinted many times down the hill, and I’ve never had issues like the ones you left behind. The flaws are very noticeable. I’d be happy to show you my other vehicles so you can see what a clean, professional tint job should look like. As for the scratch, it’s no surprise you won’t take responsibility. That’s fine—we’ll see what can be done from here. I have evidence, and it’s likely you don’t. The time frame was explained: I had a lot of overtime at work, followed by the holiday season, which delayed my follow-up. I spent time trying to figure out when the scratch could have happened, and at first, I doubted it was your shop. I thought it was in “good care” but when I went back a reviewed my photos it all points to your shop. I also just noticed that you posted a photo of my car from an angle. Do you have the full picture, or can you provide me with the surveillance video? If not, am I allowed to come in and review the footage myself? Please understand my frustration — this is a new car, and everything points to your shop. I also don’t appreciate the lack of timely responses. If this didn’t happen at your facility, it should be easy to prove that with clear footage. You must have taken photos of your work from multiple angles, including the right side, since this particular photo happens to cut off the side with the scratch. That being said Pedro(owner) I want to make it clear that I am extremely disappointed with how my concerns have been handled. I hope you understand that customers are not liars, but based on your response, it feels as though you’re implying that I am. Thank you for acknowledging that there are imperfections in the tint job done by your inexperience team i thought you’d be working on the car but you let a inexperienced person work on it as if my car was his practice. By admitting this, you’re essentially confirming that your workers delivered poor quality, which you appear to accept as standard. Given this experience, I cannot recommend your business to anyone. Accepting poor workmanship and denying responsibility for damages is not what I would expect from a “professional” service.
I live in the Barstow area but got a rec from a neighbor to check this spot out. I have to say that management were definitely trying to help the customer get the best deal and make sure the tint was to my liking. Management went above and beyond for my wife’s truck, one of their tints ran out but they upgraded the tint to ceramic at the same price as the regular tint. Definitely recommend. Thanks so much for taking care of us and our truck. Cheers!
