Mcar PPF & Tint

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with this company and feel compelled to share my story so others can avoid the same frustration. I paid a $1,080 down payment for them to start a design for my truck. I had ordered a new Cybertruck, but due to unforeseen issues with Tesla, I never actually received the vehicle. Given that I no longer had the truck, I reached out to the company to discuss my options. Unfortunately, they had not placed any orders or done any substantial work beyond sending me a basic design sketch—one that I never even approved. Since no real progress had been made on the project, I thought it was reasonable to request at least a partial refund. However, they outright refused, keeping my full deposit despite the minimal work done. This kind of business practice is both unacceptable and unethical. I want to warn others: be very cautious before handing over a deposit to this company. If anything changes on your end, even if it’s completely out of your control, you may have no way of getting your money back. A reputable business should be willing to work with its customers in situations like this, but unfortunately, that was not my experience. I do not recommend working with them unless you are 100% sure you won’t need to make any changes or cancellations—because once they have your money, you might not see it again.

I called to schedule the appointment and it was so easy. I had a cheap windshield before and it was full of bubbles. I wanted to put the Solar Film tint that everyone talks good things about and MCar has this one. The whole service last for an hour and a half. Also, the price is one of the bests of the Bay Area. Had a good experience with this shop!

This place is truly amazing. People are nice and family owned business building is very meticulous. Great luxury cars that come here to get car detailing and window tints. Price is reasonable compared to my experience with other tint shops. DEFINITELY WOULD RECOMMEND AGAIN !
