Did a great job removing old tint and re-tinting my truck…great communication and no surprises. Honest folks that I will trust again in the future.

Terrible Experience - Avoid Gentle Tint and Wraps at All Costs! Review: I recently had the unfortunate experience of entrusting my brand new car to Gentle Tint and Wraps, owned by Douglas Turner, and it turned out to be an absolute nightmare. I initially chose this place because I wanted to support a local small business, but little did I know that it would end up being a huge mistake. From the very beginning, things started going downhill. I shared with Douglas Turner the horror story of my brother's car wrap done by another company, hoping he would assure me of his professionalism and deliver a quality job. Instead, he simply made empty promises, claiming he takes pride in his work and would take responsibility if anything went wrong. He even boasted about his previous experience wrapping cars in Columbus, Georgia and how wrapping a car is much easier than tinting a window. To my disbelief, he insisted that I purchase the vinyl myself and he would only handle the labor. Fine, I thought, as long as he knows what he's doing. However, what followed was a series of excuses and poor quality workmanship. The entire process took a whopping ten days, during which I visited the shop a few times to check on the progress. Each time, I was met with poor work that Douglas Turner reluctantly agreed to redo, but with more excuses and delays. Finally, when I went to pick up my car, I noticed immediate damages. My side mirror had been carelessly cracked, and the frame was damaged. Douglas Turner's response? He nonchalantly told me to take it to Toyota and send him the bill, assuring me that his insurance would cover it. What kind of professional damages a customer's vehicle and expects them to deal with the hassle of repairs? As I inspected my car further, it became evident that this so-called professional had done a shoddy job overall. Loose parts were not reassembled correctly, leaving my car in an unsafe condition. Knife marks from sloppy film wrapping were visible, and bubbles, tears, and cuts were scattered all over the wrap. When I voiced my concerns, Douglas Turner's response was utterly unprofessional and dismissive repeatedly saying “I did the best I could”. He had the audacity to suggest that I should have gotten my car painted if I wanted a better result. Is this the attitude of someone who takes pride in their work? To add insult to injury, his wife chimed in, telling me that if I keep looking, I'll always find issues. Well, guess what? There were plenty of issues, and they were glaringly obvious. It's not about nitpicking; it's about expecting a basic level of professionalism and competence. To make matters worse, when I reached out to Mr. Turner for a refund due to the horrendous job he had done, claiming it would void all warranties and that he wouldn't fix the damages he caused. Today, the door handle on the driver's side literally fell off, and he has conveniently stopped responding to my messages. Clearly, this business has no intention of taking responsibility for their mistakes or providing any kind of customer service. This business has shown zero accountability and zero commitment to customer service. In conclusion, Gentle Tint and Wraps is an absolute disaster. If you value your car and your sanity, stay far away from this place. Mr. Turner's lack of skills, professionalism, and accountability has left me with a damaged, falling-apart vehicle and a seething anger. Save yourself the trouble and find a reputable business that genuinely cares about its customers and takes pride in their workmanship.
