Kustom Illusions Tire & Auto Repair

Plz read before letting these guys touch your car. If there was zero stars I would start there. I had an alignment done here and it is not your typical vehicle which complicates things as i understand all too well. I had several other shops tell me they could not align my 98 aristo because it was lowered, has rear steer, or because it has fully adjustable suspension in the rear. I spent quite a while talking with nate and he assured me it could be done they didn't need to look at it. So I bring my car to them and told them I want it to drive well at highway speed. They drove my car 42 mph, granted it was icy and I understand that. I called nate after I picked up my car and told him I was not 100% happy with the alignment, I felt like something was wrong and I wanted to give them the opportunity to fix it before I left a bad review. There was a vibration in the steering wheel, the car would wander all over the road, and get squirrelly when you hit the brakes. I brought the car back to have them check the alignment again and instead of him checking to make sure the alignment was good. He balanced a tire, told me I have to buy a rack and pinion if I want it to drive better, and sent me on my way. They left the locking nuts loose on the rear and charged me damn near $200 for this experience. I took the car to empire nissan in lakewood and custom illusions had pushed the axle far off to one side. I paid another $200 to have it aligned by someone who could actually finish the job AND it drove straight, no vibration, no play in the steering wheel, no problems braking WOW! What a thought! If you have no experience doing this sort of thing say so. But to charge top dollar for such actions is abhorrent.

I'm very happy with these guys. They got my car in and diagnosed the day after I called. They sent me a copy of their finding with a quote and they kept me posted during the work. The Chevy is running great. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Amazing and friendly service! We purchased a car in rapid city, SD for my sister in Denver. On the way down about 20 miles outside of Cheyenne it stopped running. My husband called around to several shops but decided on Kustom. The car got towed and dropped off. They were very quick and prompt regarding our questions and concerns. They helped us work with the crappy dealer where we bought it. They provided amazing service. My husband and I were very impressed as they quickly figured out the problem and provided us pictures of the car! We are now in Denver but will make the trip to Cheyenne to work with Kustom Illusions!
