Overall a good experience. Could have used a bit more detailed explanation of options (especially for someone who is a non-expert like me). But service was fast, and the tech who worked on my car was great.
Had my car swiped while parked at my place so before fixing I decided to come in to get a dash cam for my car. I gave 3 stars because overall I'm not super impressed by my camera and felt I was strongly misled when it was explained to me. When we came in, supposedly there was only one cam that would work with my car, my fiancé wasn't biting and we were about to leave when suddenly they pulled another camera out of thin air that would also work. One of the workers said he had the one I had, which is why I felt lied to. I wanted one that alerted me when people or cars were nearby and had a functionality akin (but obviously not as accurate) as the ring. They assured me that's basically how this camera worked. After having it for two weeks I can confidently say that is a lie. It works maybe 35% of the way it was pitched. Alberto worked on my car and he's the reason for the 3 stars. He was accommodating and professional and made short and quick work with my vehicle when I dropped it off for the installation which I appreciated. All in all I get the need for the sales pitch, but bending things into the shape of a lie isn't a wise move because the customer is eventually going to figure it. If I spend a grand on a camera and installation, I am completely at right to have the expectancy of what I bought working as advertised by the employees.
