Very happy with the expel paint protection film I had placed on my Camaro. Job was done on time. Paid attention to detail and protected my front end as I wished it would be done. Excellent business to trust your vehicle with. I was referred to this b...
Kenya did such an amazing job ceramic coating my truck. He was flexible with my schedule and budget. I will be getting work done at iShine in the future. The attention to detail was impressive. He was so kind and welcoming.
In January 2023 I was looking to get my 350Z tinted. Car had 53k miles and it was perfect condition inside. Looked around. Found the IShine. Good reviews. I saw couple nice cars there. I decided to have them do the tint. Well. I will never use them again!!!. The tint itself is ok. But when installing it, they damaged my door panels trim. The trim that is between door panel and the glass was forcefully removed - ripped out. Than it was put back - barely. It was sticking out in multiple places and some tabs were not even engaged. It was all wavy (it was perfect when I dropped it off) When i went to pick the car up, I pointed it to the owner and he said to leave it till next day and they will fix it. When I came back next day the trim was put back. But still wasn’t as good when I left it there originally. And now HVAC vent was broken. I just picked up the car and went home. Fixed the hvac vent myself (plastic piece was popped off). Few months later I went to calibrate driver side window motor. I properly removed the door panel and found the carnage done to the trim. Bent tabs. Ripped out of the door panel. I reattached it properly. Few months after that I had to replace passenger side window motor. Found even more carnage. The trim was all messed up and the interior door handle mount was broken off. All obviously due to use of force without being careful at all or without attempt to remove the door panel properly. I reattached the trim again. But both sides, passenger and driver trim now have a permanent marks/creases and stick out away from the door panel leaving a gap. It just looks ugly. And before I took the car there it was perfect. Now. Why did I wait to leave the review for so long. First I did the passenger side motor in the late summer. So that’s when I saw even more/worse damage then driver side. Also. Currently I’m looking for a business that can do the tint on my other car. And definitely NOT GOING TO USE iShine!!!! I’m going to find someone else. So I decided to post that review. I spent a lot of money and I ended up with damage done to my car. Supposedly by professionals. What’s surprising is that I know someone else with the same car, and iShine did his car properly, removing the door panels like they should, without any damage. Not sure why my car was treated the way it was. Using caveman like approach to do something they get paid to do properly. I won’t allow iShine to touch my cars again EDIT: I see Kenya’s response. He says: “Since January we do not tint older vehicle since they can have problem blah blah blah” It’s not valid response. It’s just looking for excuse. My car is 2008. Was done in January. I know someone with 2006 350Z that had tint done by iShine in the summer 2023, his door panels were properly removed and no trim was damaged. There is nothing hard about removing 350Z’s door panels. 3-4 bolts. Few clips. And voila. Full access to the glass. Basically the tech doing the tint on my car was lazy, and decided to cut the corner. He forcefully ripped the trim out of the door.
