It is not often that I write reviews since many businesses are only mediocre, but this is not the case at all for Sun Shield Auto Tint. I have brought my vehicles since 2005 and had my home tinted a few years ago and I am always impressed by all the services done each time. I had not been over to the shop for a few years but somehow Anthony still recognized me even with a mask and recalled all that has been worked on before which shows his level of customer care and service. As the person I am I received a quote to have the whole roof and sides wrapped in gloss black, full front and hood paint protection film, the top level Autobanh ceramic tints on all windows and windshield but I also received many other quotes from other shops to compare pricing. I realized how many other shops did not give me the time of day since I did not have the highest level Lamborghini or Ferrari and were asking ridiculous prices for the same work and could not start for a few weeks. I knew it would be the right choice again to go with Sun Shield since they will always stand behind their work, and professionalism on any job they provide while having the best pricing. A few days before I had all the work done to the vehicle I had stopped in and Anthony took his time to educate me on which specific tint models were going to be on which windows to assure the maximum heat rejection while staying within my budget. After a few days of dropping the car off all of the work had been completed, and as the perfectionist I am, I checked all areas with a fine tooth comb. To my amazement all paint protection film, window tint, and vinyl wrap had been installed with no imperfections, bubbles or scratches. I have tried myself to install small pieces of paint protection film or areas of vinyl wrap and believe me it takes much skills to have applied it to where it did not look like a bubbly, overstretched mess. All the autobanh tint blocks out a tremendous amount a heat I no longer realize I am in the scorching summer of Houston especially with the windshield and panoramic sunroof. I no longer have the "standard" factory vehicle everyone else has and it is truly something special now. Pictures speak for themself on the level of detail work and show the finished installations done on my vehicle! I highly recommend calling Anthony at Sun Shield to have window tint, paint protection film, ceramic coating and vinyl wraps done for your vehicle. Only Sun Shield has the best prices and pride in their work!
Have used this shop multiple times for multiple vehicles over the past 10 years! Excellent exterior services! The Sun Shield tint applied to my car 10 years ago is still in optimal/like new condition. The Sun Shield tint application to my new car and the ceramic coating looks awesome!!!! Once a month hand washing at/by this shop is recommended to maintain the ceramic coating for as long as possible, and REQUIRED to retain your warranty. I will admit that my partner and I both felt that the wash and detail jobs on our car and SUV were not worth the price charged- windows weren’t very clean and they inside had been wiped down, but not detailed.
