Jordan did an excellent job on my son’s 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe. Tiny looks amazing. He came to our home on our schedule to make this car look great. Jordan has also done my 2009 Tahoe and my other 2013 Genesis Coupe. If you are looking for a ...
Short version: it took a week to get ahold of Jordan. Got on his schedule 2 weeks later, only to have him cancel 20 minutes before our scheduled time. Long version: I was referred on FB by several reputable businesses. It’s FB, so it took some time for him to respond. No big deal. Left a message on his phone, which was returned 3 days later. At this point, starting to wonder how reliable he is. But, the price was good, so I continued with the appointment. Jordan texts me to confirm our appointment at 9:30am. I confirm the time, send him my address, and he states he might be there “closer to 9am”. I wake up to my alarm at 9am to find that he had texted me at 8:37am saying he was outside. So, I immediately give him a call at which point I find out he left at 8:40am to another client. 20 minutes before 9am (which was 30 minutes before our ORIGINAL appointment time of 9:30am), he left without a word. When I called him, he admitted no fault for leaving 20 minutes before 9am, cancelling our appointment that took 3 weeks to setup, and took no attempt to try to reschedule or work with us to right his obvious wrong. In the end, he stated I was to blame for not being available 20 minutes early. I hope his customer service improves in the future, but for now, I do not recommend working with Jordan or Lone Star Tinting. Edit: attached are the 3 “unanswered” texts. 1 was an answer to my question and 2 were him providing an ETA to which, yes I was asleep as our appointment wasn’t until 9am at the earliest.
I used Lonestar Tinting for my 2023 Camaro and 2022 Explorer, the Camaro got all 5 windows done in ceramic and the Explorer the same but just the front-side windows and front "eyebrow" (rest were tinted from the factory). The work took about 1-1.5 hours, no imperfections I could see (the Camaro's windows have very little room to work so impressive), very knowledgeable about types/shades/ matching factory tint, conscious of our cars and didn't leave them dirty or damaged, and was friendly. The price was about what anywhere else would charge maybe even on the lower end. Considering all the above I wouldn't go anywhere else if I was needing tint (wish he did car wraps because it's really hard to find good ones around here).
