Texan Glass & Solar Control - Window tinting business

Just got my front windshield done with Texan glass and I definitely highly recommend them. I was in and out in 42 mins by far the quickest and best experience I’ve had with glass work. I went to safelite and had a very bad and rude experience with one of the lady technicians there I will never go to safelite again. Go to Texan glass for all your glass needs! 💜 Thank you Mark for all your help. I really appreciate it.

We recently had frosted window tint installed on our lobby windows and glass door by this company, and I couldn't be more impressed with the service! The gentleman, Justin, who came out to measure the windows was professional and thorough, taking time to ensure everything was measured accurately. After providing an estimate for when the product would be ready, he kept me informed throughout the entire process. Once the tint was cut to size, he contacted me to schedule the installation. What really stood out was his flexibility in working around our schedule. He was able to come in during a time when we weren’t busy, ensuring minimal disruption to his work. The installation was done quickly, but with great care and attention to detail. Afterward, he took the time to explain how to properly maintain and clean the frosted tint, which I really appreciated. Overall, excellent service, great communication, and a flawless installation. I highly recommend this company for any glass or window tinting needs!

Where to start... well, I was getting my old truck redone with a nice new paint job, so I had the windshield removed to do it proper, and since it had a crack, I figured just replace it. Went looking online and found Texan Auto Glass out of Corpus Christi with good reviews, so I had them go to the body shop to put in a new windshield. While they were there, the installer (for whatever reason) leaned onto my dashboard while attempting to fit the glass, and shattered the whole top of it. The Company said it was ruined before, and they had dealt with dodge dashes and said 'it's how they all are'. No mention of why he was even leaning on the dash in the first place, no apology, no 'we'll work something out, nothing. I told them, there was no reason for him to be leaning on my dash top in the first place, but I dropped it, I just wanted the glass in so I could get my truck back. After he was done, the body shop called me and said the door wouldn't close because of the windshield. Figured, that was odd and headed over. Come to find out, the installer put the windshield in so crooked and off center, the door litterally wouldn't even close (see pic of the over hang). Called Texan again and told them the issue, and the had the audacity to tell me 'the truck wasn't straight because it was wrecked, thats why it was in the body shop'. Well, the truck has never been wrecked, not even a little. It was getting a full respray because I like my old truck, wasn't even any dents on it, just old faded Texas truck paint. Then they tell me they have to go back another day with a different windshield because it was the wrong truck and that the style dodge (2nd gen ram) had 2 different windshields sizes. Well, I've been dealing professionally with these trucks for 30 years, and can assure you, they're are not 2 different sizes, that's just a straight lie. Anyways, they come back out, replace it again and it's straight and fits. Thought that was the end of it.... Nope. The truck (now beautifully painted in a Brilliant Crystal Metallic Black) is garage kept and only goes out when the weather is nice. The few times it does go out (it's not a daily driver anymore) the windshield rubber moulding (which was new with the windshield) has come off, at highway speeds, and violently whipping the truck. Now the truck has windshield glue adhesive on the windows, doors and roof, and now some dents on the roof from the rubber hitting it so hard when it come off on the highway. I can not say enough to NOT use these people. To break a truck, not take blame, install a windshield so badly the door won't close and try to blame it on the truck, and now a simple moulding can't even stay put. I won't even call them at this point because they'll probably just tell me another excuse of it not being their fault. Do yourself a favor, go to a place that actually cares.
