I couldn’t be happier with the incredible Apex Auto Care did on my vehicle in the Houston area! From start to finish, their professionalism and attention to detail were top-notch. The paint protection film was applied flawlessly, leaving my car looki...
I compared a couple companies when looking for PPF and windshield protection for our new Sprinter Van. With such a large front end, we wanted to make sure our new purchase is as protected as possible. I had great discussions (maybe 10) with the salesman Triston at Apex Auto Care. Super responsive, friendly, etc. We got along great. I explained what we were looking for. Everything was great, until it wasn't. After picking up the van and bringing it home, I noticed a couple issues. Scope of the work was PPF on headlights, fog lights, hood, A-pillars and roof above the windshield all the way to the roof rack (which needed to be 36"). 1. The roof above the windshield was only covered half way up. 2. The A-pillars were partially covered, the leading edge near the windshield were not covered - leaving it open to damage. 3. Generally, the job done on the windshield is really good. I am happy with it. But the thing that just made me laugh and shake my head is that Apex Auto Care installed the windshield protectant OVER a factory sticker that is not required to be on the windshield. This is a brand new van. We had it less than a week before taking it to Apex Auto Care. One would think that they would have called, or asked, or just taken this little 1/2" high by 2" wide sticker that says "D/4 211HP Mercedes" off the windshield. I take some responsibility for the roof above the windshield, as I signed the contract with a lower dimension on it. But I did that before Apex had the van, and salesman Triston said he would look at it when we brought it in. He and I discussed this A LOT. And he knew this was really important to me. Both Triston and the owner Nick told me they were putting their best guy on this job, and Nick said he even worked on it. I sent Triston a picture of the sticker under the windshield film - radio silence. Not even a courtesy call to apologize. I'm giving these guys a 2 star rating. Positive: they got PPF on the vehicle. Negatives: just too many issues for this business. I should have gone back to Dynamic Autowerks (outstanding!), they are just a lot further away from my new house since the last time I used them.
Apex did a great job tinting my vehicle. My vehicle looks awesome. Their customer service is great. Use the contact form on their website and they will call you when they get a break. They answered all my tint questions and returned my car in better shape than I dropped it off (they washed AND WAXED it for me). Would recommend.
