Please don’t make the same mistake as I did. I live out of state, but I was coming to Charleston for a visit so I made an appointment to get the windows tinted on my brand new car. I chose Charleston Window Films because they did a fantastic job on m...

The worst business I have ever dealt with. The owner Joel lacks communication and customer service skills, the workers are low quality and incompetent, and the quality of work is horrendous. Over the span of 4-5 tint jobs that were continuously redone due to broken tint meters, bubbles, felt/debris stuck behind the tint (see photos) and even a large velcro type feature across my entire window, my car was very poorly treated. Trash left on the floor including razors and scraping tools, a loose door panel which I have yet to fix, white stuff stuck all over my door panels, and scratches all over my windows including one that is brand new from the factory (see photos). I was blamed continuously for their poor work and incompetency. Not to mention, there were several appointments I had scheduled and showed up for with no one at the office, or being told they couldn’t take care of me at the moment. They claim a lifetime warranty, but will void it at any inconvenience in which they can’t do your tint properly. They won’t refund you either, not leaving many options. If you’re lucky enough and sit in the shop for hours waiting to talk to the owner, one of the young employees might come mention, “hey we gon cash app you bruh you gotta go” as they did to me. I would recommend you learn how to tint your own windows before wasting your time here. Out of all the tint jobs they did on my car, not a single job was completed without bubbles in the final product accompanied by snarky, rude attitudes from the employees and owner.

I had CWF apply residential window tinting to my home. The service and sales experience was great. I chose an upgraded window film and I love the street view of my reflective windows. However, the film installed has begun to like melt away. They have already been out once to replace my storm door glass but this problem has continued. Now calls are not being returned. Big price tag for a high quality film that I was sold to just start to disappear or melt away. Multiple windows are affected. .
