Had 0% tint before, and switching to 5% ceramic tint all around made a huge difference. The car stays cooler, and the AC cools it down much faster. Privacy is excellent, and the sun visor tint really cuts down on glare during morning and evening driv...

This may be an isolated incident, but BEWARE: when the tint job is complete be sure to inspect ALL windows for bubbles and for lent and other small particles that may be underneath the tint. Also, be sure to inspect your back seats and panels to ensure they have been properly re-installed and tightened down after removal. All of these issues and oversights recently happened to my car. Although the business did refund some of my money, I decided to write this review “for the greater good.” I gave two stars because I had to argue with the guys to get some of my money back. However, technically I should give one star because they were not honest and insulted my intelligence with excuses, and even had the audacity to tell me to “stop complaining” after I had just spent $578.00 for tint. $78.00 of that amount was for unspecified taxes. But the tint job took 2 hours and 10 minutes to remove old tint and apply new tint. One guy worked on my car. Issues included: 1) There was lent or bubbles on every window, 2) there was overspray all inside the trunk of the car, 3) they removed the entire back from the car and didn’t re-install it correctly. To this day, the seat will not secure properly. Also, when I took my car to another window tint business to have the tint checked, it was discovered that the tint percentage I selected and paid for at Shield X was not applied. For example, I told Shield X I wanted %15 darkness, but they installed 20% darkness. When I took my back to Shield X and pointed out ALL the discrepancies, they flat out denied any wrong doing. When I told the guy I heard them removing the seat with the power tool, he then admitted to the mistake. I was disappointed that the guy lied about the seat, and was dismissive about the lent and small bubbles under the tint. The guy said “Nobody will notice the bubbles and the seat.” I said but “I NOTICE and I just paid you almost $600.!” Again, I gave 2 stars because under protest, they refunded some of my money. However, I should give 1 star because 1) they lied, 2) didn’t install the tint darkness I selected, 3) didn’t re-install the back seat correctly, and 4) told me to stop complaining after I had just gave them $578.00 to do the job, including $78.00 of that was for taxes! $78.00 in taxes! Really?! Advice to the business: If you’re going to provide a service to the public, do the job correctly and be honest with the customer, even if a mistake was made because it looks bad when the mistake is later discovered and then you deny it. Also, don’t lie; treat peoples’ cars with respect; and never tell a customer not to complain when they point out discrepancies.

I have been coming to these guys for years. They are fast, friendly, and always available to answer questions as soon as you arrive. This is the 3rd car that I take to them and the application of the tint is always flawless! The lifetime warranty makes this place stand out above the rest. Any chips, peels, or future defects will be covered at no cost. I always refer friends and family members here. I recommend this place for anyone looking for grade A quality tint. There’s many options to fit everyone’s taste. I will definitely keep coming back and suggest anyone to check it out. You won’t be disappointed.
