Mr. Tint - Window tinting business

Hoping this message reaches Tom the owner. I’ve been a long time customer of Mr. Tint. As they have tinted several of my vehicles. Today was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had there and I won’t be back. For starters I went to get my windshiel...

I had my prior 2 cars tinted here with no problem, came back with a very expensive sports car 5 years later and they destroyed my window moldings and weather stripping with an exacto. The tint job itself was amateur at best, improperly cut film, bad tuck job, had artifacts between film and glass and they left my car a complete mess on the interior, i had to get it detailed following cause of the spray they use to apply got all over my leather interior and they didnt even try to clean it up. It was such a bad job im going to have to get it redone elsewhere, cant trust this company anymore. Came for a tint job, left with over 500 bucks in damages that i am still talking to an attorney and my insurance company about. ... I would avoid mr tint at ALL COSTS if you are looking for perfection or are trying to tint a show car, pay extra for professional work.

Literally go anywhere else. They damaged my rear glass and refuse to repair it. Created a case with the BBB and they didn’t answer. I spoke with another tinting business to ask about the damage how it could have happened and they said the heating grid is normal but the deep grooving in the glass was caused by friction from their tool against the glass. If they would have informed me about the heating grid prior to service I would have understood but they didn’t and it doesn’t account for the grooving in the glass. They claimed “that must of been there before” and they didn’t use “abrasive materials” but I have pictures with the old film on that proves otherwise. No accountability. Not to mention the heating grid is also the antenna so my key fob doesn’t work either unless I’m 10 feet from the car. NOT TO MENTION THE TIME I SPENT CLEANING THE INTERIOR BECAUSE THEY DIDNT. ALL THE SHAVINGS FROM THE OLD GRID EVERYWHERE AND THE GLASS WAS DISGUSTING. Also, false completion time estimate. I sat in that place from 1-5pm while Tom kept saying “yea almost”. For 4 hours! Literally go anywhere else.
