We hired an installation company we found off of Decorative Films website to order and install some Solyx Clear Sand Blast (SX-1002). After a couple of years, this is what the film looks like. It shrunk over 1/2" and began delaminating from the glass...
Great products Great customer service. I am a window tint company. I have seen some of the negative reviews About people being disappointed sometimes thr do it Yourself way doesn't have all the necessary experience or tools, not in a bad way. But this is a very reputable company that I've been using for a while with no issues. Also, there are certain types of film that can't be exposed to UV rays. And nothing ever lasts forever. We all know this.
Ordered a product from their website. It wasn't a bad film, but didn't work for my application when it is stated that it should. Reached out to customer service only to find that it is beyond abysmal and did nothing but shift blame. I posted a mixed review on their website saying that it would be a good film for flat home windows, but it wouldn't do well on more curved automotive windows. It never saw the light of day. I'd be cautious about reviews on their website as it seems they filter them and only allow positive ones through, which would explain the low review count.
