Tint Crafters South West - Window tinting business

I’ve brought cars here before. The install has always been top notch, five stars on that. This time I opted for the ceramic tint, however the ceramic tint he’s using has an incredible amount of haze when the sun shines through. In the picture you can see where it goes from not hazy to hazy. It’s been about 4 weeks since the install. I have not fallowed up with him on this and will update review accordingly. I’m pretty sure this is a downfall of ceramic widow tint even though there are tint manufactures that have non hazy ceramic window tint.

Got a quote for tinting all the windows on my Caravan. Work was scheduled. He was done sooner than estimated. Great service and now my van looks so much better!

If zero stars was an option, I would have easily selected that. So, if you are considering Tint Crafters SW to get your windows tinted, and you care about the appearance of your car, I would read this following review/experience: I heard about Tint Crafters through a friend and saw the quality work that was produced and followed with making an appointment with Keith. I was excited! I made an appointment, as I had recently bought a BRAND NEW CAR, to get an all around window tint done. After the tint was complete, two days later, I noticed several amounts of what looked like dirt spots on my back windshield. I brought the car back in, to have Kieth look at it and to see what could be done. He took some time to try to rub out a few if the spots and told me, “that’s as good as it’s gonna get. Your car had a lot of dirt in it, so I didn’t charge you for a cleaning it.” He had gone on to explain that it was pretty much the standard for a tint job to have as many dirt spots as it did. Later, I showed my car to family and friends, of which they all shared that they the spots were very noticeable and suggested that it wasn’t normal. I began to get really concerned, and frustrated, so I decided to take my car to a local window tint shop to get a second opinion. When getting a second opinion, the installer told me that the windows were poorly cleaned, and that with any installation process the windows should be thoroughly cleaned to prevent as many dirt spots as possible. With as many dirt spots as there were, the installer had recommended having me ask Keith for a refund and for him to remove the tint. At this point, I was significantly upset as I had now had multiple friends, family members, and another window tint installer confirm that I was in fact NOT CRAZY and that my concerns were 100% valid. I had reached out to Keith stating I was disappointed with the quality of the job and wanted a refund and to have the tint removed. Keith explained to me that they do not offer refunds and insisted on reexplaining to me that my car had all kinds of “sand in it; it must have come from Arizona or something.” He also asked, “have you ever gotten a tint before?” as if my windows were completely fine and it was the norm. What I didn’t tell him, because I was so baffled in the moment, is I had gotten a tint done before and don’t remember a single dirt spot being shown up on my windows like that! For whoever reads this review, please know when I bought the car it had only 4 miles on it. So again, rather than taking ownership of not cleaning the windows properly and just admitting that something didn’t go right, he looked to say that my car was the issue, and if I was so dissatisfied with the tint “then maybe you shouldn’t even have a tint on the car.” Now, if I had to guess, Keith might say “Well hey, I offered the guy to fix the issue and he didn’t take my offer.” I did not take his offer because at that point, he had completely lost my trust, after countless times of him telling me that the quality of the job was “the standard” and that essentially any other expectation of not having as many dirt spots as the windows did is just ridiculous. So I never followed through with his offer. Which I am glad I didn’t because after the drying process was complete, my back right window now make a wonderful crinkle noise when I roll down the window!! But, what do I know!? That is the standard and if you like lots of dirt spots, and crinkle noises when you roll your windows up and down, then Tint Crafters SW is the place for you! So I won’t be having him fix the tint, and I’ll be having to spend money elsewhere to get it taken off and replaced. And yeah, that will cost me more money, but it will be money well spent knowing that Keith won’t be touching my car again, saving my car from more dirt spots and lovely crinkle jingles. Below are several pictures of the windows so you can get an idea of what your windows may look like (back windshield is the worst and some of the edges on the other windows were poor as well)!
