Recently had my windows tinted on my ZO6. Bree was informative & knowledgeable of the different shades, costs, warranty, and estimated time. Kept me updated on status. The installers did excellent work & installed the different shades per my requests. All windows were tinted including the front headlights. The Vette looked great & upgraded in its characteristics. Excellent work by all involved. Highly recommend Blackout AZ for the services performed. Three weeks later the craftsmanship is excellent. Great job by the team at Blackout AZ in Queen Creek.
I chose Blacked Out AZ based on a recommendation from a friend. Normally, we take our Teslas to Tint 360, but since Blacked Out AZ was much closer and used the same products, I decided to give them a try. Unfortunately, that was a mistake. We dropped off our brand-new Tesla (only 2K miles) for PPF and window tint, and they had the car for two days. I confirmed around 1 PM on the second day that it would be finished by the end of the day. They assured me it would be ready and parked outside with the keys in it. By 4:50 PM, I still hadn’t heard from them. I called—no answer. At 5:15 PM, I finally got a text saying the car would be parked outside. When I picked it up, it was already dark, so I didn’t get a good look at the work until I got home. And that’s when I realized just how rushed and careless the job was: • The windshield tint was full of bubbles and creases in multiple spots. • The windows were filthy—streaks everywhere and full-on handprints all over them. • The PPF was already lifting on the front fascia and mirrors. There were also creases around the front fender corner. At that point, I knew I had made a mistake. My friend had already warned me about their issues (his car had to go back due to mistakes and missing paid work they forgot about). I brought the issues to their attention, send photos, and they told me to bring the car back—but honestly, I don’t trust them to fix it properly. They had my car for two full days, and based on the quality of work, it looked like they rushed it all in four hours. In the end, I took the car to Tint 360 to have everything completely redone. They immediately spotted more issues, like the tint rolling back on the left rear window. Lesson learned: I should have gone to Tint 360 from the start. If you care about quality and attention to detail, avoid Blacked Out AZ.
Amazing experience with Blackout AZ. Car has never looked better. They did a 2 Step paint correction as well as a 7 year ceramic coating. Amazing service. Highly recommend.
